This time of year gets busy! I always think of Halloween as the start of the holiday season and then it’s a blur from now until New Years. How do the last two months of the year go by so fast? So with life being crazy, I decided to share an incredibly easy recipe. These Mini Halloween Pizzas make great appetizers, snacks, or even a meal. And they only take about 20 minutes to make! Perfect when you’re rushing out the door to go trick-or-treating!
I have to admit that Halloween is not my favorite holiday. I never got into the dressing-up and have the hardest time deciding what to be for Halloween. Kris and I did go to The Frightened Felons event at the Old Idaho Penitentiary with a group of friends this past Saturday. They had a haunted cell block, music, and food. Kris and I reused our Ketchup and Mayonnaise costumes for the third time…..It’s acceptable to reuse costumes, right?
And we did go over to Kris’s parent’s house over the weekend to carve pumpkins too. Kris made a glittery poop emoji carved pumpkin, and I just painted mine with glitter. I thought about sharing a pumpkin recipe today but feel like the market is so flooded with pumpkin (spice) everything. Maybe later. Pumpkin seems to be popular through Thanksgiving, so we’ll see…
So make these Mini Halloween Pizzas tonight! Take them to your Halloween party or feed them to your kids before they stuff themselves with candy (or make them for yourself before you overdose on sugar)! I used Flatout Flatbread Wraps as the “pizza crust” because I wanted to keep them low carb for myself. But you can use any type of tortilla. Just cut out the shapes using Halloween cookie cutters. And then I used a jar of pizza sauce instead of making my own marinara, because again, going for super easy here. Finally, top with shredded cheese. I used mozzarella but any kind of shredded cheese works. You could even add other pizza toppings if you want. See, super easy and fun!

- Flatbread low carb wraps or any tortillas work
- Jar of pizza sauce
- Shredded cheese - mozzarella parmesan, cheddar
- Optional - additional pizza toppings such as pepperoni salami, sausage, olives, mushrooms, peppers, onions
- Halloween shaped cookie cutters
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
Using cookie cutters, cut Halloween shapes out of tortillas. Depending on the size of your tortilla or low carb wraps, you should be able to get 4-5 "mini pizzas" from each tortilla.
-
Place tortilla pizza crusts on a baking sheet.
-
Top tortilla pizza crusts with pizza sauces - about 1-2tbsp per crust.
-
Then top with shredded cheese and any additional toppings.
-
Bake for 5-8 minutes, until cheese melts.
-
Enjoy!
